2016 Finals Weekend #2

The second of the Club Tournament Finals Weekends took place on 20th/21st August.
The players battled through some very windy conditions on the Saturday but all were hard fought matches.

SATURDAY
Juniors Singles: Ross Edgar beat Grace Rivers 7/5 4/6 10/7
Open Mixed Doubles:  Rachel Banks & Ben Laffont beat Anda & Matt Banks 0/6 6/2 6/1
Vets Men’s Singles: Tom Murrell beat Paul Seaney 6/4 2/6 6/3
Vets Ladies Doubles: Katarina Bunce & Carole Charlton beat Penny Allen & Mary Claremont 6/2 6/3

SUNDAY
Vets Mixed Doubles: Bunny Smith & Jim Kitchen beat Katarina Bunce & Elias Matar 6/2 6/3

Thanks to all the umpires (Roger, Freddie, Roy, Elias & Ben) to Ben as the main tournament organiser and President Jill Stanton, the most photographed member of the club!
