Club Finals Day 2023

Our annual Club Finals Day took place on Saturday with a packed schedules of matches. There were 5 Open and 3 Plate finals being played over 3 courts.

The weather stayed fine and the spectators were treated to an afternoon of top quality tennis. A comprehensive barbecue was laid for them on by our ‘chef in residence’ James and his team.

Club President Jill Stanton had a busy afternoon presenting all the finalists with medals plus trophies to the Open winners.

Our tournament organiser Corni once again did a wonderful job this year and was ably assisted on the day by Sally-Ann and Sarah. The tombola they put on was hugely popular and raised almost £400 for Prostate Charity UK. Our Just Giving page is still active if you’d like to make a donation.
